Get On - Free Ride
GetOn is the consumer facing website for the motorcycle industry. The aim is to encourage people to take a ‘free ride’ to show how motorcycling can be fun and a great way to travel. However, the Get On website is more a social media site where people can discuss their riding experiences rather than a site dedicated to new riders.
We therefore proposed using a banner campaign to promote the free ride but rather than send people to the Get On site we would try and engage them within the banner. We developed expandable banners where customers could actually apply for a free ride via the banner. This was an innovative approach which generated far more free rides than simply sending people to the Get On site.
