The client had identified that new collections increase usage of the site and are also a great way to motivate people to become members. This is especially true with core collections (like birth, deaths and marriages) and the more 'exciting' collections (like Aliens! – immigration data).

Stream developed and tested enewsletter formats against different customer groups to identify which performed the best. The enewsletter was used to help retain customers and increase usage of the site. And as a new collection came on board we created email campaigns aimed at acquiring new members, upgrading members, generating increased site usage and lowering attrition rates.
